INCIDENCES OF CHILDHOOD CANCER
INCIDENCES OF CHILDHOOD CANCER
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will hold a media availability following her speech at the U.S. EPA Conference on Preventable Causes of Cancer in Children at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Va., at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 15. Browner’s speech will outline EPA’s actions to protect children from environmental heath threats, including from those that may contribute to the rise in childhood cancer. Browner will also discuss efforts to develop a national research agenda -- among federal health agencies and experts across the nation -- to identify potential environmental causes of cancer and to better protect children.
