EPA EXTENDS PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR THE PROPOSED CLEANUP PLAN FOR THE ROSS METALS SUPERFUND SITE IN FAYETTE COUNTY, TENNESSEE

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced today that the comment period regarding the proposed cleanup plan for the Ross Metals Superfund site in Fayette County, Tennessee has been extended until January 19, 1999.
Comments should be addressed to Beth Brown, Project Manager, U.S. EPA Region 4, WD-NSMB, 11th Floor, 61 Forsyth Street, S.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30303. Copies of documents related to the proposed cleanup plan are available for public review at City Hall, 360 Morrison Road, Rossville, Tennessee 38066.
