EPA to partner with the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness to Raise Awareness about Asthma

ATLANTA - In celebration of World Asthma Day, EPA Region 4 is partnering with the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness, Division of Health Promotion to launch the Fulton Asthma Improvement and Reduction (FAIR) program to focus on the state of asthma in Fulton County. To kick off the program, a FAIR panel discussion will be held to raise awareness about asthma and allow participants to share strategies for improving asthma care throughout Fulton County.

The FAIR kick off theme is " Asthma Awareness: Putting the Pieces Together," and is one of the several events in Fulton County aimed at improving policies and reducing the health disparities associated with asthma.

The panel discussion will provide an opportunity to share perspectives on some of the most challenging issues surrounding asthma and identify areas that would be best addressed through a unified, cooperative and a collaborative effort.
