Hurricane Katrina: Louisiana - EPA Response Update

     EPA has temporarily stopped sampling efforts and is standing down in anticipation of heavy rains and weather as a result of Hurricane Rita.

     EPA is working closely with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to prepare for Hurricane Rita. EPA and contractor personnel are stationed at the Regional Response Coordination Center in Austin.
