EPA Awards Over $100,000 to the Comanche Nation to Develop Environmental Protection Program

(Dallas, Texas – November 14, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded 109,925 to Comanche Nation to support the development of a core tribal environmental protection program. The Comanche Nation will use the funds to develop the capability to provide an environmental office, development of quality assurance documents, conduct community outreach, and develop a solid waste program.
