EPA Awards Over $450,000 to the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality

(Dallas, Texas – September 15, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $452,500 to the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). These funds will be used by ADEQ to support the permitting, enforcement and program management of hazardous waste activities. ADEQ will also use the funds to conduct inspections, oversee corrective action and the closure of hazardous waste facilities.
