EPA ADMINISTRATOR BROWNER TO ADDRESS THE SOLAR ENERGY INDUSTRY IN ORLANDO, FLA. ON CLINTON ADMINISTRATION’S COMMITMENT TO COMBAT GLOBAL WARMING
EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address members of the solar energy industry at the SOLTECH ‘98 conference at Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Fla., at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27. Browner will discuss the Clinton Administration’s commitment to using innovative, energy-efficient technologies and alternative energy sources -- like solar energy -- to combat the threat of global warming. Browner will detail President Clinton’s plan to commit $6.3 billion over five years to spur energy efficiency and develop clean energy technologies to reduce the pollution that causes global warming.
