EPA public comment period begins on proposed approval for Clinton Landfill; public meeting on April 13

CHICAGO (March 14, 2011) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced a public meeting and the start of a 60-day public comment period on the Agency’s proposed approval of PCB disposal at the Clinton Landfill in Clinton, Illinois.
The public comment period runs from March 15 to May 15, 2011. The public meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, at the Clinton Community High School at 1200 Route 54. The Agency will consider all comments before making a final decision.
