EPA EMPLOYEES RECEIVE "HAMMER"AWARD FOR
TECHNOLOGY-BASED TRAINING
On Jan. 21, two EPA employees, Lisa Nelson, of EPA's National Enforcement Training Institute (NETI) and Anna Doroshaw of EPA’s Enforcement Capacity and Outreach Office received Vice President Gore's Hammer Award for founding and organizing three multi-federal agency Learning Technology Symposiums. Gregg Woods, Deputy Director of the National Performance Review presented the award at the third conference, held Jan. 21-22 at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. where over 200 government employees attended more than 35 workshops devoted to technology-based learning. The Hammer Award is given to government employees who serve the public interest by developing innovative ways to make government run more effectively.
