The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Mexico’s SEMARNAT (Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales), at a press conference on Thursday, will discuss future plans to address environmental and public health issues facing communities along the U.S.-Mexico border and will announce plans to open a new health center funded by the USEPA that will help Mexican pediatricians more effectively treat children’s health problems caused or aggravated by environmental factors.
