EPA TO ANNOUNCE GROUNDBREAKING GREEN POWER PURCHASE

     SAN FRANCISCO -- EPA Regional Administrator Felicia Marcus will join Senator Barbara Boxer, Richmond Mayor Rosemary Corbin and several other federal and state officials at the EPA's Richmond Lab on Friday to make a major announcement concerning the federal government's future use of renewable energy.

DIRECTIONS:  Take I-80 east toward Berkeley, stay in right lanes. At junction, take I-580 west toward San Rafael/Richmond Bridge.  Take Bayview Exit.  Turn left at stoplight at top of exit.  Continue straight at stop sign on Meade Street. Turn left on South 47th Ave., and immediate right on Seaver Ave. into UC Richmond field station.

Stop at guard gate.  Turn left onto Egret Way.  Turn right at stop sign onto Lark Drive.  Turn left at Avocet Drive.  The EPA Regional Laboratory is straight ahead the cement building with the stainless steel statue.
