Urban Waters Middle Rio Grande Kick-Off Activities

DALLAS – (Dec. 10, 2013) The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Interior (DOI), Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), the U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Bernalillo County are meeting with state, local, and tribal governments to discuss the implementation of the Urban Waters (UW) project. The project will address water issues and environmental justice in the Middle Rio Grande.
The Urban Waters Middle Rio Grande Project Kick-Off meeting is Dec. 11, 2013. This event provides the public opportunities to engage federal partners over water resources and the UW project. The event will be held at the Albuquerque Balloon Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
