EPA To hold public hearing regarding the Minority Business and Women's Business Enterprise Programs

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 regarding Minority Business and Women's Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) Program. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center, 2nd Floor, Conference Rooms B & C, 61 Forsyth Street, Atlanta, Georgia, This is an opportunity for grantees, MBE/WBEs, federal, state and local officials to better understand and comment on the Supreme Court's "Adarand" decision to extend strict judicial scrutiny to federal affirmative action programs.
