EPA Will Announce Award to Boston for Site Assessment in Dorchester

BOSTON -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will hold a press conference at 10 am tomorrow, Aug. 15, at an empty lot at 88-98 Nightengale St. in Dorchester to announce a major federal grant aimed at boosting development efforts in Dorchester.

Among the speakers at the event will be Mindy S. Lubber, Regional Administrator for EPA New England; Mark Maloney, director of the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and Janet Van Zandt, executive director of Boston Aging Concerns/ Young and Old United.
