Border XXI Meeting Scheduled

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting in Brownsville, Texas, to present the Water and Natural Resources Workgroups' Border XXI 1997 Implementation Plan and 1996 Accomplishments Report.
The Implementation Plan identifies 1997 federal projects and describes long-term objectives contained in the Border XXI Program. A question and answer period is scheduled after the presentation.
Border XXI is a joint effort of the United States and Mexico designed to achieve a clean environment, protect public health and conserve the natural resources of the border region.
