EPA Administrator Whitman to Present "Draft Report on the Environment"

(06/20/03) On Monday, EPA Administrator Christie Todd Whitman will present the findings of the "Draft Report on the Environment," the first-ever national picture of environmental quality and human health in the United States. The report contains the latest scientific data available on the nation’s air, water, land, human health and ecosystems. Scientific, consensus-based benchmarks to measure future progress are also identified in the report, which represents a collaboration with over 30 federal agencies and departments, and numerous state and private sector groups.
