Hurricane Katrina: Louisiana - EPA Response Update

     EPA stood down all field activities in Louisiana with the exception of limited reconnaissance in anticipation of heavy rains and weather resulting from Hurricane Rita.  In response to a FEMA mission request, EPA emergency responders are staffing the Regional Response Coordination Center in Austin, Texas.
