EPA Awards Over $1 Million to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals

(Dallas, Texas – December 4, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $1,059,200 to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (LDHH). The funds will be used to manage Louisiana’s drinking water program. These activities include attaining and maintaining safe drinking water quality standards, supporting the state’s public drinking water systems, and compliance, enforcement and technical assistance.
