We applaud the bipartisan action taken today by the Senate in passing EPA’s budget for fiscal year 2001. The bill largely funds President Clinton’s most important environmental policy initiatives. It allows this agency to continue providing strong public health and environmental protections for America’s communities. We look forward to final Congressional action on EPA's budget.
