EPA Awards Bronze Medal to Lansdale Resident

PHILADELPHIA  -- The Environmental Protection Agency has honored Deborah Eble of Lansdale for her outstanding technical expertise in cleaning up a Superfund site.

Eble, a contracting officer who has worked at EPA for 10 years, contributed to the safe cleanup of extremely hazardous site soils using onsite incineration at the Drake Superfund site and demonstrating professionalism throughout a relentless legal battle and citizen challenges.

"Deborah deserves applause for her hard work. Thanks to her, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA’s mid-Atlantic regional administrator.
