SAN FRANCISCO The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency reached a $10,450 settlement with World Oil Corporation of South Gate, Calif. for failing to submit its 1997 biennial report, which informs the public about what quantities and types of hazardous waste are being generated in their community, a violation of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act.
