Nanotechnology for Hazardous Waste Site Remediation Technical Workshop

(Washington, D.C. - October 18, 2005) EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) and Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) will sponsor a two-day workshop on the application of nanotechnology to clean-up of hazardous waste sites on Thursday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 21, 2005. The workshop will present the latest results from research and current practices regarding the use of nanotechnology for hazardous waste site remediation. Attendees will include members of the academic, government, and private sector communities.
