FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Kansas City, Kan., May 15, 2007) – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7 will present a $600,000 check to Kansas City, Mo., for brownfields assessment of hazardous waste and petroleum contaminated properties throughout the city, and the cleanup of the East Village Project, Cherry Street Inn Site.
