EPA Official Will Celebrate World Water Monitoring Day With Chatham H.S. Students

As part of the national celebration of World Water Monitoring Day, EPA New England’s Director of the Office of Ecosystem Protection, Linda M. Murphy will join a Chatham High School chemistry class and perform water quality monitoring of Frost Fish Creek. World Water Monitoring Day, which officially takes place on Oct 18, is designed to educate people worldwide about the value of clean water and the role of water quality monitoring. Chatham High School students have been monitoring Frost Fish Creek weekly under the direction of Jean Avery since 1994.
