A conference to promote pollution prevention and provide trade and professional organizations with an opportunity for information exchange will be held Sept. 15-16 at the Kimball Center, 1616 P St. N.W., Washington, D.C. Examples of incentives for pollution prevention, challenges small businesses face in adopting pollution prevention and the status of EPA’s efforts to expand its Toxic Release Inventory program are among the topics scheduled for discussion. The conference also includes an Information Expo which will provide participants with examples and literature about successful prevention programs.
