EPA Awards Over $200,000 to Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Council

(Dallas, Texas – December 19, 2007) The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded $220,000 to the Eight Northern Indian Pueblo Council through the General Assistance Program. The council will use the funds to assist member Pueblos and tribes in managing specific environmental programs, establishing a core program for environmental protection, and conducting solid waste management activities.
