EPA Awards Over $200,000 to the City of Albuquerque

(Dallas, Texas – September 23, 2010) The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded $203,201 to the City of Albuquerque. The funds will be used to continue the city’s air pollution abatement and prevention program. Expected accomplishments include attainment and maintenance of national ambient air quality standards and reduction of air toxics emissions by planning and implementing air quality compliance, enforcement, and permitting activities.
