TODAY: EPA, state and local officials hold media briefing on Enbridge oil spill
(MARSHALL, MICH. – Aug. 1, 2010) On behalf of the Unified Command, the Environmental Protection Agency officials, along with Michigan state and county officials will hold a media briefing regarding the Unified Command’s ongoing response to the Enbridge oil spill in Michigan’s Kalamazoo River. EPA has the role of Federal On-Scene Coordinator for this incident.
Officials with Enbridge will brief the media immediately following the government briefing in the same location.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Members of the media must be credentialed. Those attending in person who have not been credentialed, should arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for required credentials to be verified and photo identification badge to be produced. You will be directed from the Marshall High School parking lot to the elementary school for this process.
