Browner to Outline Administration Efforts to Create Public and Private
Partnerships to Achieve Clean Air Goals
Partnerships to Achieve Clean Air Goals
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will address the Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air meeting on Wednesday, March 3, at 3:45 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis., on Administration efforts to create public and private partnerships to achieve clean air goals for all Americans. Administrator Browner will discuss the new Clean Air Partnership Fund – announced in the President’s State of the Union Address – which provides $200 million to states and local communities to create innovative partnerships to reduce air pollution.
The Wisconsin Partners for Clean Air is a voluntary coalition of over 260 public and private organizations including businesses, community organizations, schools, and government agencies committed to improving air quality in southeast Wisconsin.
