PHILADELPHIA -- The Environmental Protection Agency has donated four computers to the Cape Charles Sustainable Technology Park. The computers will be used for educational display workstations and administrative support.

“We are very proud that we can provide computers for a facility like the Cape Charles Technology Park that is dedicated to improve the economic, social and environmental health of the Eastern shore of Virginia,” said Thomas Voltaggio, EPA’s acting regional administrator for the mid-Atlantic region.

The technology park, which is designed to encourage maximum profitability through efficient use of resources, will showcase innovative companies whose products are good for the environment. The computers will be used to support education and outreach goals for the park

The computers, formerly used by EPA employees, are the latest of more than 900 computers that EPA’s mid-Atlantic region has donated to worthy organizations since 1996.
