EPA Employee Honored for Superior Service

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency presented a bronze medal for superior service to Brian Kovak of Richboro, Pa. for his contribution toward the planning, design and implementation of the GreenLease Project, which enforced environmental values at EPA’s new offices at 1650 Arch Street.  Mr. Kovak, a regional safety, health and environmental program manager, has worked for eight years at EPA.

"Mr. Kovak deserves applause for his hard work.  Thanks to him, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA regional administrator.
