EPA and K-State Host Sustainable Redevelopment Workshop

(Kansas City, Kan., August 29, 2008) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7, and Kansas State University will host a Sustainable Redevelopment Workshop September 9-11 at the Kansas State University Student Union in Manhattan, Kan.
This event is a practical, hands-on workshop, during which participants will hear from national and regional experts, local government representatives, and designers who have implemented "green" redevelopment techniques. Participants will work through the process of designing sustainable redevelopment of actual brownfields properties.

The course fee of $195 includes a continental breakfast and lunch on the second day.
