Research Triangle Park, NC – EPA Administrator Christie Whitman will attend the dedication ceremony of the new EPA Campus in Research Triangle Park on May 29, 2002, to present a keynote address to employees in celebration of the official opening of the 1.2 million square-foot state-of-the-art research facility.

WHAT: Dedication of the new EPA Campus in Research Triangle Park. This will be the Administrator’s first visit to EPA in RTP.
- In other dedication activities, a scientific panel presentation will be held at 1 PM in the auditorium on “Science in Environmental Decision Making – Progress and Opportunities,” chaired by Dr. Paul Gilman, EPA Assistant Administrator for Research and Development in Washington, DC. The media is invited to attend.
Following the ceremony a tour of the new facility will be conducted.
