FOR CLEAN WATER ACT VIOLATION
Luke C. Hester 202-564-7818 / [email protected] On April 23, Timothy Williams, owner of the Exit C&D Landfill in Osnaburg Township, Ohio, was sentenced to four months imprisonment and four months of home confinement, and was ordered to pay $30,000 in fines and restitution for violating the Clean Water Act. The case was investigated by EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division, the FBI, and the Ohio EPA and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation. The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s office in Cleveland.
