FORMER PLANT MANAGER OF PLATING COMPANY INDICTED
Jeff McCrea, former plant manager of Dakota Plating Inc., a Sioux Falls, S.D., zinc plating company, was charged on July 22, with conspiracy to violate the Clean Water Act in a superseding indictment in U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota. The charges allege that McCrea conspired with Dakota’s owner to unlawfully discharge plating wastes into the wastewater treatment system from 1992 to 1996.
