EPA Employee Honored for Superior Service

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency presented a bronze medal for superior service to Stefania Shamet of Exton, Pa. for her work promoting compliance with the Clean Water Act in the Potomac River watershed.  Ms. Shamet, the assistant regional counsel, has worked for almost two years at EPA.

"Ms. Shamet deserves applause for her hard work.  Thanks to her, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA regional administrator.
