CONNECTICUT FAMILY WINS "ENVIRONMENTAL YOUTH AWARD" WITH NO BUTTS ABOUT IT CAMPAIGN

BOSTON -A group of siblings from Woodbridge, Conn., received the President's Environmental Youth Award at a ceremony today in Washington DC for their work last year in creating a successful campaign to attempt to eliminate cigarette butt litter off beaches, trails and other natural places.
The winners, Amy, Alli and David Steinmetz, received their awards for the "No Butts About it Campaign" from EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner.
The recipients were honored for their hard work in raising awareness and providing a solution for cigarette butt litter.
Sheri Steinmetz, the mother of the siblings, nominated her children for the award
