(05/02/03) On Tuesday, May 6 at 10:00 a.m., EPA Administrator Christie Whitman will be joined by Dept. of Commerce Deputy Secretary Sam Bodman in announcing a partnership between EPA and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to improve air quality forecasting. This event will include a signing ceremony as well as demonstration of new technology that will significantly enhance the ability to forecast air quality related to ground-level ozone and fine particulates.
