SECRETARY GLICKMAN TO ANNOUNCE STEPS TO ELIMINATE MTBE AND TO INCREASE USE OF RENEWABLE ADDITIVES
Washington, D.C. -- Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Carol Browner and Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman will hold a press conference to announce actions the Clinton-Gore Administration is taking to eliminate the fuel additive MTBE in order to protect America’s water resources and to promote the use of renewable additives, like ethanol. The details of the press conference are:

By Taxi: Go to the south entrance of the Ariel Rios Building on 12th Street, between Pennsylvania Ave. and Constitution, look for the press conference sign at the south entrance.
