PESTICIDE DIALOGUE COMMITTEE WILL MEET

A public meeting to provide input to EPA on pesticide regulatory issues will be held in Arlington, Va., on Dec. 4-5. The EPA-sponsored meeting is of the Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC), which was established in 1995 under the Federal Advisory Committee Act as a forum for a diverse group of stakeholders interested in EPA’s pesticide decisions to provide input to the Agency. Members of the committee include environmental/public interest and consumer groups, industry and trade associations, pesticide users, federal and state/local governments, the general public, academia and public health organizations. The Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee is a forum for the groups to provide advice and recommendations to EPA regarding a broad range of pesticide regulatory development and program implementation issues associated with evaluating and reducing risks from use of pesticides. The meeting will be held at the Hilton Crystal City Hotel, 2399 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Va. (703-418-6800).
