Environmental Agencies Invite Public to Discuss Air Quality Issues and Participation Opportunities for Muscatine, Iowa

(Kansas City, Kan., Aug. 16, 2012) - EPA Region 7 and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources will host two public availability and informational sessions about Muscatine, Iowa’s, outdoor air, indoor air quality, monitoring and public participation opportunities on Aug. 28 at the Environmental Learning Center in the city’s Discovery Park.
The events are free and open to the public. Subject matter experts will be available to answer questions on all air quality issues including specific air pollution types, monitoring and community resources. Materials and information will be available in English and Spanish.

WHEN: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012
The same information will be presented at both meetings so the public can choose the session most convenient to attend.
