EPA HOSTS HAZMAT 2000 SPILLS PREVENTION CONFERENCE
EPA is hosting the HAZMAT 2000 Spills Prevention Conference April 4-6 in St. Louis, Mo. Conference participants include state and local emergency managers, industry representatives, fire fighters, environmental organizations and others interested in chemical safety. The conference is sponsored by EPA, four other federal agencies and numerous state and local organizations. HAZMAT 2000 gives participants information to enhance risk communication skills, learn from a variety of case studies and receive the latest information on counter-terrorism and risk management.
