The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will announce the signing of the first Binational Prevention and Emergency Response Plan between the border cities of Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. The Plan improves the ability of these U.S./Mexico sister cities to jointly prevent and respond to emergencies involving fire, chemicals, or hazardous materials which may affect border residents.
EVENT: Mayor Cesar Rios of Nogales, Arizona and Presidente Municipal Lic. Wenceslao Cota Montoya of Nogales, Sonora will sign the plan at a signing ceremony on the border.

DIRECTIONS FROM TUCSON: Take 1-19 South to the end in Nogales. At Burger King, where main road veers left, turn right on to Sonoita Ave. Turn right again into Canchola parking lot. Walk to Terrace Ave., turn right, and walk downstairs on the left side of street to De Concini Building. Take the elevator up to the skywalk through De Concini over Grand Avenue to the far end.
