EPA names Wisconsin wastewater treatment plants among best-operated

CHICAGO (Aug. 22, 2006) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 has named three Wisconsin wastewater facilities among the best-operated in the Great Lakes states for 2006. They are the Clark County Health Care Center, Tomah and Valders facilities. EPA Region 5 covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
The awards will be presented to Tomah on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. at Tomah City Hall, 819 Superior Ave., and to Clark County Health Care Center on Thursday, Aug. 24, at 10:30 a.m. at the center, W4266 State Road 29, near Owen. The award presentation to Valders has not yet been scheduled.
