HEALTHY INDOOR PAINTING PRACTICES BROCHURE AVAILABLE
EPA, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Maryland’s Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection has published the “Healthy Indoor Painting Practices” brochure to help educate residents, property managers and painting contractors of suggested practices to follow when using paint. The brochure includes simple tips such as advising painters to read and follow the product label, guidance on proper ventilation practices after painting, tips on safe cleaning and disposal of paint and brushes, and guidance for apartment dwellers.
