EPA Employee Honored for Superior Service

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency presented a bronze medal for superior service to Lisa Brown of Hamilton Township, N.J. for her contribution to the cleanup of residential lead near Abex Superfund site in Portsmouth, Va.  Ms. Brown, a public affairs specialist, has worked for six years at EPA.

"Ms. Brown deserves applause for her hard work.  Thanks to her, the mid-Atlantic region is a cleaner, safer place to live," said W. Michael McCabe, EPA regional administrator.
