BROWNER LAUNCHES SENIOR
ENVIRONMENTAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

MEDIA ADVISORY
U.S. EPA Administrator Carol M. Browner will join four of the nation's most prominent senior volunteer organizations to launch a new senior volunteer program to help protect public health and the environment across the country on Friday, May 16, at 11a.m. in Alexandria, Va. Browner will speak about the vital role seniors play in protecting the health and environment of their communities at the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement Conference.
Following her remarks, Browner will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with officials from the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Service's Administration on Aging, the National Council on the Aging, the National Senior Service Corps, and the Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement.
