Acknowledgements
The BMDS 3 application and software components are the result of a collaborative effort between EPA , the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
The goal of the collaboration was to meet current dose-response needs of chemical risk assessors and introduce state-of-the-science dose-response methods, such as Bayesian analysis and model averaging.
