January 2023 RLF ACRES Training
The purpose of the training webinar on January 12, 2023 was to assist RLF project officers and RLF grant recipients with understanding reporting changes in ACRES for RLF grants. In addition to an ACRES demonstration, the training agenda included a discussion of Closeout Agreements and reporting requirements, as well as Q&A time for RLF grant recipients to ask questions. The following training material was discussed:
- RLF Grants Training Slides (pdf)
- Sample Closeout Agreement (pdf)
- Sample Brownfields RLF Annual Post-Closeout Report (pdf)
- Sample RLF Form (pdf)
All RLF grant recipients who have an open and/or post-closeout RLF grant are encouraged to review the following recording for this training webinar, along with the complete list of RLF grant recipient questions and EPA answers:
- Recording of January 12, 2023 RLF ACRES Training (mp3)
-
Q&A from January 2023 RLF ACRES Training (pdf)
- NOTE:
- 1) EPA responses in this Q&A document may include additional information beyond what was provided during the webinar. For example, EPA has included a very useful table that provides a crosswalk of what types of RLF funding (federal grant funds, cost share, and different types of program income) can be used for various requirements and activities while the RLF cooperative agreement is open and after it closes under a COA. See the table on the last two pages of the Q&A document for more details.
- 2) Since this webinar, EPA has finalized two draft documents that were provided above as webinar training materials. See the Final Sample Post-Closeout Report (version date: May 11, 2023) (docx) and the Brownfields RLF Form for the most up-to-date versions.
