Financing Green Infrastructure: Best Practices From the Clean Water State Revolving Fund
As one of the largest sources of public water quality financing in the United States, the EPA’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program has the national reach and resources to expand the use of green infrastructure across the water sector. Since 2009, state CWSRF programs have provided nearly $2 billion for green infrastructure. Virtually any project that manages, reduces, captures, or treats stormwater is eligible for funding. This webcast featured speakers from EPA Headquarters, PENNVEST, and Capital Region Water in Harrisburg, PA. Attendees will learn how the CWSRF program is supporting green infrastructure at the national, state, and local levels by creating incentives for implementation and providing a permanent source of low-cost financing.
